As part of the educational art project, Mobilizing Citizenship, Kunsthall Stavanger is happy to present a talk by the Swedish designer, Benedetta Crippa.
Benedetta Crippa runs a graphic design practice with projects across the wide scope of visual communication. Her main area of research concerns ways in which graphic design can expand beyond current boundaries of methodology and aesthetics. She designs visual identities, digital platforms, printed matter, strategies and visual interventions for transformation and pleasure beyond dominant traditions to revisit ideas around beauty, form and power. Engaged with artistic research and design education, in 2018 she was selected for Fikra – the very first graphic design biennial of the UAE region – with a commissioned site-specific work.
