Nils Eger (b. 1944) is an artist with a studio at Tou in Stavanger. In 2001 - 2004 he was the Director of Stavanger Kunstforening after previously been the Director of art institutions such as Kunstnernes Hus in Oslo, Rogaland Art Centre and the Rogaland Art School. Eger was also engaged in the union work of UKS and NBK. As an artist Nils Eger is a painter and has exhibited in various galleries and art associations. His work is represented in the art collection of the National Museum. Nils Eger lives and works in Stavanger.
Kenneth Varpe (b. 1978) is an artist from Jæren and also a current board member of Kunsthall Stavanger. Varpe holds an MA in fine art from Chelsea College of Art & Design in London (2001). Through drawings, paintings, objects and video he is exploring personal stories and complexities around the topic of representation. Aside to his artistic practice, Kenneth Varpe has also curated several exhibitions, co-founded artist run galleries, and held various positions in boards such as Vestlandsutstillingen, AKT-S (performance network) and UKS.
