Welcome to a guided tour of the exhibition Mark Corfield-Moore: We Speak Chicken with Kunsthall Stavanger curator Heather Jones. After the tour, we have a pop-up café, where you can enjoy cake from Coco kanel and coffee from Micro Kaffi.
Corfield-Moore utilizes a hybrid practice of painting and weaving to render images of buildings and spaces based on his lived experience and memories of family and childhood. The exhibition’s title references the lack of a shared language between Corfield-Moore and his Thai mother, and points to cooking and food as a mutual means of communication.
The tour is included with the price of admission and free for all Kunsthall Stavanger members.
The tour will last approximately 30 min. with additional time for questions and discussion. After the tour, we welcome you to sit down in our foyer for a chat and enjoy something from our pop-up café.
The tour will be conducted in English.
