The video is an almost 60-minute-long animation in a serialized soap opera style, based on conversations Stark had with strangers in an online chat room. The female protagonist's flirtatious discussions with random participants gradually expand from being about sex to covering broader topics such as film history, politics, and protest. Stark used scripts from these virtual encounters and a text-to-speech animation program to highlight how new communication technologies allow for a greater degree of both intimacy and anonymity, and thus new forms of communication and behavior.
