Join us for the public launch of Tender Endings, the first major publication dedicated to the work of artist Anette Gellein.

The launch will feature a conversation between Gellein and curator Heather Jones, followed by an opportunity to purchase signed copies of the book.

Tender Endings is the first major publication dedicated to Anette Gellein’s work, published on the occasion of their eponymous exhibition at Kunsthall Stavanger. Focusing on Gellein’s recent film trilogy – Love and Greed and Pain and Lust (2023), Dyke Dreams (2024), and Annus Horribilis (2026) – the book features an extended conversation between the artist and curator Heather Jones, alongside newly commissioned essays by Amelia Groom, Lola Olufemi, and Mike Sperlinger. Bringing Gellein’s practice into dialogue with queer and feminist discourse, the publication offers the first presentation of their work in print, richly illustrated with full-colour film stills, drawings, and illustrations by the artist.

The event will be conducted in English.
