Curator tour: Ebecho Muslimova

Welcome to a guided tour of Ebecho Muslimova's exhibition Fatebe Shadows, where curator Heather Jones provides an in-depth look at key pieces in the exhibition. The audience will gain a special insight into the themes behind the works, the artist's process, and the personal and societal relevance of the exhibition.

At the core of Muslimova’s practice is a fascination with the archetype of the Trickster; a mythological character who crosses boundaries and disrupts norms. Muslimova uses this archetype to dive into the subconscious and reveal its creative potential. At Kunsthall Stavanger, Muslimova vividly explores the individual and collective subconscious through ‘Fatebe’, an imagined character moves through shadowed interiors and psychic spaces, including several of the Kunsthall’s own galleries.

This evening, the audience is invited to enter into a dialogue with both the works and the curator.

The tour is included with the price of admission and free for all Kunsthall Stavanger members.

The tour will last approximately 40 min. with additional time for questions and discussion.
